The Ministry Offices will be closed for Clean Sweep today, April 5 to clean and refresh our work spaces in order to serve more effectively in ministry. We will reopen at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday April 6.

Baptism Class this Wednesday

Make a Real Impact in Cuba with Hyde Park

Small Blessings Summer Camp

Our preschool, Small Blessings will be offering summer camp  for children two to six years old.  There will be three two-week sessions that will meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings for six weeks between June 14 and August 4. Hyde Park United Methodist has partnered with the El Ayudante Mission in Nicaragua for 10 years of annual

DOWNTOWN AT THE PORTICO
Big Step Forward for The Portico

At the Church Conference on Tuesday, March 29, the congregation unanimously approved the beginning of construction on The Portico. Thanks to the hard work of The Portico building committee, and prior approval by both the Finance Committee and the Board of Trustees, construction will soon begin in renovating the sanctuary and administration building, creating a new worship space, coffee shop, offices, and other meeting areas, with a projected completion date of this fall. Triad Construction has been hired to be the general contractor. The Portico has funds on hand to complete construction, but if you would like to contribute to a matching funds initiative to help fund additional aspects of the renovation, you may do so here (choose "The Portico" from the drop-down box).

A team from Hyde Park will make God's love real with the El Ayudante Mission trip to Nicaragua Oct. 29-Nov. 5. This is Hyde Park United Methodist's 10th Adult Nicaragua Trip. Learn more. 
Disaster Relief Opportunities in Pasco County

The Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church is leading a recovery effort in southwest Pasco County from a severe flood and rain event in July and August of 2015. Beginning in April, teams will begin assisting with home repairs.  Learn more.

VBS Registration Opens Sunday
 
Registration for Vacation Bible School, June 27-July 1, opens Sunday. Children aged 4 (by 6/1/2015) through rising 6th grade are invited to Cave Quest, where they will learn about following Jesus, the light of the world. Learn more or sign up to volunteer.
