Easter Offering

Our Easter offering this year will support our Ministry and Missions fund. No special envelopes are needed. You may use your regular offering envelope or pick one up in the pew or brochure racks around campus.

New Member Class Begins April 3

Grow in faith with others that are new to Hyde Park in our new members class, 9:30 a.m. Sundays in the Chapel lobby. This six-session group will use "A Disciple's Path," which focuses on spiritual practices and prepares you to find your place in ministry at Hyde Park. Learn more and register.
Church Conference Set for March 29

The District Superintendent has authorized a called Church Conference 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Mar. 29 in the Chapel to act on recommendations from the Downtown Ministry team, Committee on Finance and Board of Trustees for renovation at The Portico. All church members are voting members of and invited to the Church Conference.
No Dinner This Wednesday

There will be no Wednesday Night Dinner this Wednesday, as we are preparing the Harnish Activities Center for worship on Easter Sunday. Dinners will resume March 30.

Confirmation Service Next Sunday

All are welcome to celebrate the commitment of the 2016 confirmation class 6 p.m. April 3 in the Sanctuary. Confirmation is a significant step in the journey of faith for youth as they profess their own intent to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

On her 80th birthday, the Rev. Magrey deVega and the congregation thanked "Miss Ethel" for faithfully taking care of and rocking babies in the church nursery for 22 years. And she plans to keep rocking. Learn more.
