Family Christmas Service-Dec. 23
People of all ages are invited to experience Hyde Park's Family Christmas Service at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 23 in the Sanctuary. Enjoy music from our children's choirs and Youth Praise Team and a telling of the Christmas story. Child care will be available for our youngest disciples on the first floor of the Wesley Center.

Mid-week programming
Tonight, Dec. 16, will be the last evening of mid-week programming until we resume on Jan. 6, 2016. We hope to see your children in the Jr. Zone, Zone or Club 45 tonight. Please join us for the Family Christmas Service on Wed., Dec. 23.  
NEW Sunday Morning Safety
Your children's safety is our highest priority at Hyde Park. Beginning Jan. 3, as part of our continued review of Sunday procedures, the entrance to the Wesley Center will now be restricted to children and their parents/guardians and Children's Ministries volunteers only. During drop-off, 9:15-9:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.-11:15, and pick-up times after services, a greeter will have the doors open to welcome your family as always. During programming times, 9:45-10:30 a.m. and 11:15-Noon, all Children's Ministries' volunteers are engaged with your children. During these programming times, the doors will be on keypad lock. We will give you a code at drop-off in the coming weeks in case you are ever running late or need to pick up your children early. Connection Point, located outside the Wesley Center doors in the Courtyard, also has the code. Parents with children in Small Blessings or Wednesday night programs already have the code and may use it. Again, this new process will begin Jan. 3. Happy Birthday Jesus-Thank You!
Over 80 children gathered on Dec. 9 to enjoy a Happy Birthday Jesus party at Hyde Park. Thank you so much to the volunteer elves who made this celebration possible!
Miss Mary Lou Wins Lockmiller Award
On Sunday our own Mary Lou Compton was presented with the 2015 Lockmiller Award for Excellence in Christian Education by the Florida United Methodist Foundation. Mary Lou has faithfully served the children of Hyde Park for 44 years. We are so thankful for Mary Lou and the way she's made God's love real to our families! Read more here.  
Upcoming Sit-Together Sundays
The Sunday after Christmas, Dec. 27, will be a Sit-Together Sunday for all children on the 2nd and 3rd floors, both 3-4-K and grades 1-5. The Nursery will be available on the first floor of the Wesley Center for children aged 4 and younger.

Jan. 17 (MLK weekend), will be a Sit-Together Sunday for grades 1-5 only. Regular programming on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Wesley Center will be available for children aged Kindergarten and younger. 
Worship Faith Steps-Parents of 4 & 5-year olds

Your child's life of worship begins with you. Are you ready? Join other parents for this 3-week small group to explore how to bless your child with a love of worship. Classes will meet Jan. 10, 24, and 31 at 9:30 a.m. in Knox Hall 156. Sign up here.
Impact the next generation as a shepherd
Just three hours a month can make a lasting impact on Hyde Park kids! As an 11 a.m.  small group shepherd you will develop relationships with children, sit with them during large group time, and lead or assist with the small group lesson. Contact Meagan for more information.
