Emily's Message
This Saturday is a dress rehearsal for all children and youth participating in the Family Christmas service. Youth Praise Team should plan to be in the Sanctuary at 9 a.m. and all other members should arrive at 10 a.m. Practice ends at noon. We look forward to seeing everyone as you serve during this special time of year.
Making God's Love Real
This week my brother injured himself and had to go to the hospital. I prayed about it, and I immediately felt better. That's how I experienced God's love this week.

Middle School
This time of year is very stressful. For some, it may be because of travel and making plans. For others, it may be the fact that finals are just around the corner. Either way we need to realize that this time of year is meant to be enjoyed. Whenever we are feeling stressed, which will inevitably happen, we need to give all stresses to Christ so we can spend this Christmas holiday the way God would want us to: with clarity and joy. Happy Holidays!

Hyde Park is going to camp during week #2. Church camp is for grades 4-12. Camp costs $420 this year. You can register and put a deposit down online at the Warren Willis website. If you would like to ride the church bus, contact Kathy. Seats are limited and are first come, first served. If you are in need of a scholarship, contact Emily.
Sundays
Sunday Morning
We believe that the best way to create "sticky faith" is by having youth involved in congregational worship and serving in church. We encourage both of these for our students. If not attending worship, students can serve in various ways during the hour they are on campus. If you would like to get your student plugged into serving around campus with Children's Ministries, Open Arms, the Tech Team, ushering or greeting, please contact Emily.
Merge, Sunday 5-8 p.m.

Join us as we go Christmas Caroling to some of Hyde Park's shut-ins. We will make four stops to include both homes and assisted living facilities. Wear something festive (like your favorite Christmas hat) and join the fun. No dinner will be provided and every youth needs a medical form on file in order to ride the bus with us.
Wednesdays
Middle School Bible Study
We all know the story of Christmas, but did you know that, for Jesus' mother, the story was about a lot more than one night? Over the next three weeks, we will look at Jesus through the eyes Mary as we look at Mary's not so silent night.
