10th Annual Alternative Christmas Market Sunday

Farewell to Danny Bennett Sunday 
 
This Sunday, we will say goodbye to Danny Bennett. He has been reappointed to serve as the interim pastor at Christ United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida, starting Sunday, Nov. 15. Youth Christmas Tree Fundraiser This Sunday

Purchase a fresh Christmas Tree to support Merge Youth Ministries youth camps and missions. Students will be on-hand to take orders after all services this Sunday  and Sunday, Nov. 15 in the Courtyard. Place an order online or learn more here.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
Participate in SERVE Day and Jam the Bug

This November, Hyde Park is partnering with Metropolitan Ministries and there are two opportunities for you to serve:
  • SERVE day at the Metropolitan Ministries tent with some 400 Hyde Park members on Nov. 22.
  • "Jam the Bug" this Sunday by donating jars of peanut butter to Metropolitan Missions on Azeele Street by the breezeway entrance.

Manna Bags
 
Manna Bags will be available this Sunday in the Harnish Center during the Alternative Chritmas Market for a $5 donation. These bags contain food, information on local resources, and scriptures for those in need. Manna Bags will not be sold again until January, so stock up!
CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Children's Ministries and Heifer International
 
The children in Sunday Morning Live exceeded their October offering goal by raising $879 for Heifer International! Through this offering, the children have made a global impact: a cow, a water buffalo, and a goat will be given to multiple families in need somewhere across the globe. Learn more.
Merge, Sunday 5:30-8 p.m.
 
At Merge, Middle and High school students enjoy a meal, play games in the Harnish Activities Center, worship with the youth praise team, and hear a practical bible message to apply to real life. This week's topic: Real Talk.
