One of the ways we partner with parents is through of offerings of Faith Steps classes. Parents of 4-and 5-year olds are invited to a 3-week small group starting Nov. 1 where they will explore what worship is, the different ways we worship, and how you can enhance your child's worship experience. Sit-Together Sunday & No Boot Camp
Children in grades 1-5 should worship with their parents on Sunday. These children may serve as helpers with 3-4-K children if their parents are in a small group during worship. Bible Boot Camp will not meet on Sunday. There will be a "children's moment" with Pastor Magrey at both 9:30 and 11:00 Sanctuary services--come and see!  
Congratulations Miss Mary Lou!
Our own Mary Lou Compton, small group shepherd for PK-4 and member of our VBS worship team, has been chosen to receive the Lockmiller Christian Education Teacher of the Year Award by the Florida United Methodist Foundation. Mary Lou has faithfully served our Hyde Park kids for over 40 years! We are so grateful for her dedication and the way she's ministered to generations of Hyde Park children.
Heifer Progress
To date, Hyde Park kids have raised $350 toward the purchase of a cow through Heifer International. Great job kids! Keep bringing your offering! Learn more.

Are You Smarter than a 3rd Grader?
Get your game on! Third-grade parents and kids are invited to a fun, friendly competition with other Bible Boot Camp parents and kids on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 9:30 a.m. in room 308/9 of the Wesley Center. We'll enjoy light refreshments together after the game. Parents who participated in the Faith Steps class will be blessing their children in 11:00 worship after the competition.
