May is the month of transitions-graduations, final exams, recitals, awards ceremonies, retirements and more. For every family I know, it is one of the busiest months of the year. It's fitting that Mother's Day falls in May, giving the special ladies in our lives the encouragement they need to make it through the home stretch of a busy school year. In May, we hope you have a minute to breathe, appreciate your family's accomplishments and remember what was special about this school year for you or your family.

Wed. Night Programming
Wednesday night programming (the Jr. Zone, Zone, and Club 45) ends this Wednesday, May 13. We will celebrate with pizza and cupcakes on Wednesday! Childcare on the first floor of the Wesley Center will continue on Wednesday nights for the rest of May and June and older children are welcome in the Nursery while their parents attend a small group, serve, or attend choir practices. Nursery childcare will take a break during the month of July (July 1-22), but will resume Wednesday, July 29. Programming (Jr. Zone, Zone, and Club 45) will resume in September.

YOU + Summer 2015 = Awesome Sunday Mornings!
Many shepherds who serve in Sunday Morning Live faithfully throughout the school year take a well-deserved break over the summer. If you are a parent or grandparent who has enjoyed worship or a small group while your children or grandchildren enjoyed Sunday Morning Live, we ask that you commit to serving at least one Sunday over the summer. We need the entire body of Christ to encourage the next generation of disciples and to show our school-year shepherds how much we value them and their time! We would like our shepherds to return refreshed and renewed for the next school year. Summer Sunday Morning Live runs from June 7 through Aug. 16. We are using Volunteer Spot to track our summer Sunday serving opportunities. To sign up to serve as a summer substitute shepherd one or more times, click here.
