I hope you and your family enjoyed (or are still enjoying) a wonderful Spring Break! Full Wednesday evening children's programming resumed yesterday. Grade 1-5 children in Sunday Morning Live continue to explore the same Scripture passages as those read in our Sunday worship services. We are looking forward to the Family Easter Celebration, the Palm Sunday Processional, and Easter Sunday worship. Invite someone to church this Easter season! Learn more on our church website.

Family Easter Celebration

Join us for the Family Easter Celebration on Saturday, March 28 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Enjoy snacks, crafts, games, an egg hunt, and a telling of the Easter story. Register on our website and invite your friends!

Congregation members can help make Easter special by contributing items we will use to make treat bags for every child who attends the celebration. Pick up a reminder postcard Sunday in the Courtyard and donate individually wrapped candy, small toys, stickers, pencils, erasers or any other small party-favor type items. Return donations on Sundays, March 15 or 22 in the Courtyard or drop them off in the Ministry Offices any time before March 25. Contact Kathy DiRaimo with questions.

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is March 29. Sunday Morning Live children, aged Pre-K 3 through 5th grade, will participate by waving palm branches at the beginning of the 9:30 and 11 worship services. Please send a child-sized palm branch with your child. After checking your children in, please bring them to the following locations:

Playground - PK 3, PK 4, Kindergarten

Memorial Garden - First through fifth grade

Please be on time! After the children process in the service, they will return to their regular rooms for Sunday Morning Live. Choir children will receive instruction from their Directors.

Holy Week programming

We will be having Nursery, Jr. Zone, Zone and Club 45 during Holy Week on Wednesday, April 1. There will be NO dinner that evening, however, so please make alternative plans to feed your children.

Easter Sunday Programming Changes

Nursery care will be available for the 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11 a.m. Easter services. Children's Ministries will hold regular Sunday Morning Live for 3-4-K and 1st-5th grade children at the 9:30 hour on Easter Sunday. During the 11 hour there will be no Sunday Morning Live. Children are encouraged to worship with their families at the Family Easter Service in the Activities Center, the Traditional service in the Sanctuary, or at 11 Magnolia. There will be Nursery care for children PK4 and younger on the first floor of the Wesley Center during 11:00 hour.

Vacation Bible School June 22-26

Be sure to save the week of June 22 for Vacation Bible School at Hyde Park! Kids will learn about conquering challenges with God's mighty power. Registration will open April 6. We need a lot of volunteers to make God's love real at VBS. If you are an adult who can help, click here to let us know. If you are a youth who can help, click here to sign up.

Dad & Me Weekend

Dad and Me Weekend at the Life Enrichment Center is April 10-12. Dad and Me Weekend is a chance to focus on 'passing the torch' of faith on to the next generation. Click here for more information.

Summer Camp Registration Open!

Click here to register for summer camp and reserve your spot for the week of June 15-20, 2015 (week #2). Once you've registered, contact Kathy DiRaimo if you want to reserve a spot on the church bus. Spaces are limited and the church bus is first come, first served.
