He knows what it's like to be ignored, disobeyed, and disrespected on every level! But there is one thing that God does that we need to take careful notice of. Click here to learn more.

COMMUNICATIONS CORNER
The act of staying home alone is one that comes with a lot of trust. After the weekend I had during Christmas, it took a lot for my parents to be able to trust me on my own. This weekend, my mother went up to visit my sister in college. Since the person that normally stays with me was not available, my mom made a decision to have me stay home alone. I realize how much trust my mom had to put in me and my decisions. After the fear I gave her during Christmas break, I realize that this was a big step. My mom had to put a lot of faith in me, sharing that faith with God. With His guidance, I was able to prove I'm finally moving on.

DID YOU KNOW?
Ten percent of the worship congregation makes up a healthy reflection of numbers in the youth ministry. If attendance on a Sunday was 200 people, then you should range around 20 teenagers. You can be healthy and be higher or lower in attendance for varied reasons, but that's a good measure. It is important to distinguish the worshiping congregation over the church rolls. An unhealthy congregation cannot expect to have a thriving youth ministry that exceeds its own metrics. If it does it may not be sustainable. Churches that look for youth to be the "magic pill" in saving their church are going to be disappointed. Rolls then become your new outreach focus, not group.

At Merge, we average 100 students weekly coming in and out of our Merge Building through various programs. We have an average attendance around 1,000 in our congregation on Sunday mornings, so we are considered a "Healthy Youth Ministry."

Lenten High School Home Groups
High school students meet 6-8 p.m. for dinner and in depth Bible study at Natalie Peric's home (3908 W. Santiago St. Tampa, FL 33629). Invite a friend and bring your Bibles. See you then!

Middle School Wednesday Night Bible Study, 6:30 p.m.
We are aligning our study with the current Lenten series. We will do an indicative bible study (which means really studying each word and phrase of our Scripture passage) each week. We will look at Christ's journey during the Lenten period and see how we can align our walk with His. Join us this Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m.

There will be no programming the week of Spring Break including the following:

Middle School Sunday School, Sunday, 9:30 a.m.
Confirmation, Sunday, 6-8 p.m.
Merge, Sunday 5:15-8 p.m.
Lenten High School Home Group, Tuesday (3/10)
Middle School Wednesday (3/11) Night Bible Study, 6:30 p.m.
