 EmilyEMILY'S MESSAGE
Youth Sunday is an annual tradition in which students in grades 6-12 lead our congregation in all of our worship services. The teenagers run the whole morning from hospitality to sharing a message.

This year's theme is "Baggage." How do we let go of the things that weigh us down in life? Comparison, pressure, betrayal and anger become baggage for all of us. Come and encourage our youth as they share their hearts and lead us in worship.

Walking with you,

Emily Felgenhauer

VOLUNTEER NEEDS
Confirmation Volunteers
We need adult female volunteers (1-2) to accompany our Confirmands on the retreat Feb. 20-22. If you can help, please contact Dave soon.

A common problem I've noticed with everyone is the unbearable urge to gossip. When we feel insecure about ourselves, we have the tendency to place our insecurities on others. We need to watch what we say. Often when we say bad things about others, it's really the thing we like least about ourselves. God places his love in us to help us feel secure. Let's talk more about that.

Middle School Wednesday Night Bible Study, 6:30 p.m.
The Bible is intimidating - no doubt about it. It's so big, so wordy, and hard to understand, but what if we told you that there was a way to read the Bible that would make it easy? Good news! There is an easy and fun way to read and understand the Bible, and it's called "The Amazing Bible Race." This race will be your chance to get into Scripture, earn points for your team with fun activities, and be encouraged as you learn and grow in your faith. Each student will need to purchase a Runner's Reader for $6, which will help you remember what the reading of the day is, as well as provide you with commentary to help you understand what you're reading. Come ready to race this Wednesday in the Magnolia Building. See you there!
