During your teen's life, there are going to be times when other voices will be louder than yours! Other opinions will be considered before yours. Other viewpoints and wisdom will be searched and listened to without regard to yours. If you are being 'replaced' what should your role be? Click here to find out.

Have Some Taste Teaser
"Have Some Taste" Teaser

This week was a big week of anxiety for Plant High students. Being thrown back, the laziness from winter break had to be thrown aside in preparation for semester exams. Although the stress and tension at points can be overwhelming, students have managed to find their ways to be calm. One person in particular is facing more stress then the rest of us. During break, their mother passed away from cancer. Not telling any of their friends they faced school and the stress of exams with the mixture of grief from the holidays. When they finally began to talk about it, they were filled with genuine love from those who knew. This is a moment where God has given them strength to continue at school through the situation he faces, and he is showing himself through all who support and give love to this fellow student.

Middle School Sunday School, Sunday, 9:30 a.m.

Merge, Sunday, 5:30 p.m.
No programming this Sunday because of Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend. Enjoy your weekend with your friends and family. We will see you next week!

Confirmation, Sunday, 5:30-8 p.m.
No programming this Sunday because of Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend. Enjoy your weekend with your friends and family. We will see you next week!

Middle School Wednesday Night Bible Study, 6:30 p.m.
The Bible is intimidating - no doubt about it. It's so big, so wordy, and hard to understand, but what if we told you that there was a way to read the Bible that would make it easy? Good news! There is an easy and fun way to read and understand the Bible, and it's called "The Amazing Bible Race." This race will be your chance to get into Scripture, earn points for your team with fun activities, and be encouraged as you learn and grow in your faith. Each student will need to purchase a Runner's Reader for $6, which will help you remember what the reading of the day is, as well as provide you with commentary to help you understand what you're reading. Come ready to race this Wednesday in the Magnolia Building. See you there!
