 EmilyDAVE'S MESSAGE
Are you helping your kids too much? A statement like that seems hard to wrap our heads around in a Christian community. After all, we want the best for our kids. What does the Bible say about this? Click here to find out.

High school can be tedious. Finding yourself in a society based on the false idea of perfection can create false illusions of who you have to be. Monday afternoon one of my friends approached me, saying there was a girl in the bathroom eating by herself on the floor, crying. She told me she felt terrible for the girl but didn't know what to do. She asked me if she should ask the girl to sit with her, to which I said, "yes". She had me follow her into the bathroom as she asked. Her eyes lit up, you could tell she didn't expect this to happen. My friend invited her to sit at the table, we helped her to her feet, and she thanked us. To my friend that cared so much for this girl, she is the prime example of how God's love can show through us.

Middle and High School Merge, Sunday, 5:15-8 p.m.
The final six commandments illustrate a key truth about God - he cares a great deal about how we treat each other. In fact, these commandments were so revolutionary at the time because they showed that everyone had worth and value. God gave us these laws, not as some type of admissions test into heaven, but as instructions on how to live and be free in him. He knows that not only is our relationship with him important, but so are the relationships he has placed in our lives. Dinner starts at 5:15 p.m. and programming at 6 p.m. Invite a friend and you both get a blue Merge tumbler!
