Walking this journey with you,
Emily Felgenhauer

Last night, I was stuck in Macon, Georgia in a gas station parking lot for four hours. Coming home on a bus from a crew regatta in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the bearings on the front right tire broke and our tire started to smoke and wasn't safe enough to drive home. They had to send another bus to get us. Once the bus arrived, it was six hours more to Tampa. I cannot begin to tell you how frustrated that bus of 52 crew members was! Sleep deprived and aggravated were two scenarios that's sure to be a recipe for disaster. Amazingly enough, during the four hour wait we kept each other calm. Sure we complained (a lot) but we managed to wait through it and support one of our own who had to be brought to an ambulance. Nine hours later, we all made it home safe and healthy. God showed his love and protection and showed himself in all 52 of us as we took care of each other through this difficult experience.

Middle and High School Merge, Sunday, 5:15-8 p.m.

How crazy is your life? Doesn't it seem like the weeks go by so fast? Okay, maybe not the school day or your shift at work-but the rest of your time, like your free time-how much of it seems to just disappear before you know it? What if you were more intentional with your time? More specifically, what if you spent time each week pausing, reflecting and acknowledging what God has done for you and everyone else during the week? What if you took time to stop, rest and realize that no matter how much you thought you were in control of every minute, he was really in control all along? Dinner starts at 5:15 p.m. and programming at 6 p.m. Invite a friend and you both get a blue Merge tumbler.
