Metropolitan Ministries Urban Experience (July 14-17)
Are you looking for an exciting way to get involved in short-term missions? Metropolitan Ministries' Urban Immersion initiative provides groups a unique opportunity to be immersed in an urban environment. The group will be exposed to true homelessness and poverty, while learning ways to help individually, as a church, or a corporation here in Tampa Bay as well as your own community.

Your experience includes:
  • Face-to-face ministry with homeless and at-risk clients
  • Serving off-campus with local partners
  • Evening service opportunities
  • Praying for families in need
Students will be able to go home at night and return to church in the morning to have a full day of service within our community. This mission week will take the place of our usual "Thursday Serve Day" during the summer. These four days will be trips back and forth to Met Min. We will have daily drop off and pick up times at the Magnolia Building. Students will stay the night at their own homes. We want to encourage students to participate in the whole 4 day experience.

If your student can't attend a day or two, we are not able to subsidize the cost. Please let us know in advance if your student is not able to participate on a specific day, otherwise we will assume your student will be a part of the full 4 day experience.

Middle School Bible Study  
This summer, Ashley will take the middle school students on a journey through the many books of the Bible. We will answer questions about sanctification, convictions and idolatry through analysis of Bible verses, a chapter of Psalms and a significant Bible story. Join us 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesdays from June 11 to Aug. 6 for Biblical knowledge and tons of fun!

High School Bible Study 
This summer, the high school students will dive into the book of Ecclesiastes, which has long considered to be a great book to read for people who want to grow in their faith. We will be asking the hard questions and getting answers which have helped people for thousands of years. Hope to see you there!

Frozen Movie Night   
Join the Summer Movie Series as we watch Frozen in the Activities Center, 6 p.m. June 25. Bring your own mat to sit on and friends to watch with!

Mark your calendars for our first "Merged" night with both middle and high school students. Our Youth Interns have created an awesome summer series, "Emerge." Ashley and Mason will each take turns giving the message. You won't want to miss it! Dinner is catered every Sunday evening for $5 per person. The schedule for our new program is below:

Join us 9:30-10:30 a.m. for a series by the Skit Guys called "Show Me Funny." If you aren't familiar, it's a hilarious, understandable, and educational DVD series. You won't want to miss it!

Serving in Open Arms, Children's Ministries, Music, Tech,
Parking, Usher/Greeter for all five services on Sundays.
