Some of My Favorite People

Families and Dancers, Winter in New England is so unpredictable and it's only the middle of February. I can honestly say I am finished with winter. Next season please! These last three weeks have been inflexible for all of us. I feel especially sad for our Monday students who have had their classes cancelled for three consecutive weeks due to winter storms. I can assure you with recital planning underway, these winter storms and studio cancellations have not helped our situation. We have also experienced an increase in student absentee rates because students have been sick. The studio is working as diligently as possible preparing for the recital however we still have several obstacles to overcome in a short amount of time. It is imperative we continue to receive your support and that our families remain flexible as we create a course of action to meet deadlines in the next couple of months.
This newsletter is newsworthy and should be read in it's entirety. It includes information about our Winter Gala Benefit fundraising success, recital theme, auditions for an extra performing opportunity choreographed by Ricardo Foster, Jr., and auditions for our the Next Step Dance Company 2015-2016 Season. For the latest in studio happenings please continue to visit our website at www.stepbystepinc.com or like our FaceBook page at the top right of this newsletter. For questions email [email protected].

Winter Gala Benefit Fundraising Success!

Guests Enjoying a night of "Mystique"
|
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you who contributed to the success of Step By Step Dance Studio's 8th Winter Gala Benefit "Mystique". This year's benefit in honor of The Autism Alliance of MetroWest, a program of Advocates, Inc., raised $15,934.81! All of which has been donated to help families in our local area who have a child or children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am proud of our accomplishments. There is no greater feeling than to share the joy of dance with these local families. It is evident that my dancers, as well as their friends and families who spent so many hours of their own time to help with the benefit, share my feelings. Thank you so much for your support.
