Dear Friends of Brown Traffic,
Today we are announcing our company's new name-and mobility and traffic experts brand. Brown Traffic Products and Eagle Traffic Control Systems are now MoboTrex. The name change and branding update is behind an effort to better position MoboTrex to stand out in the field of traffic control product manufacturing and distribution; align its recently acquired Eagle manufacturing division, and Brown distribution division, under one unified name; position itself as the traffic and mobility leader well into the future; and accentuate the company's extensive experience and expertise. The new name is a derivative of the new branding tagline: Mobility & Traffic Experts. Our name has changed, but our goal remains the same. We will continue to offer the expertise that results in the best traffic solution for every customer, every day.
Founded in 1969 by Roger L. Brown, Brown Traffic started as distributor of traffic products in Iowa and Minnesota. That territory was later expanded to include Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois and Texas. Brown Traffic's distributorship now falls under MoboTrex Distribution. In November of 2013, Brown Traffic acquired a division of Siemens and rebranded the products it made at the Austin, Texas operation as Eagle Traffic Control Systems. The Eagle brand is a strong brand in our industry and that brand name will still be found on our products-these products will now be manufactured under MoboTrex Manufacturing. You will still be able to reach us at the same phone and fax numbers, physical addresses and our current @browntraffic.com emails will be forwarded immediately. Starting today, all of our outgoing emails will be from our new domain name @MoboTrex.com. You may want to forward this email to your IT Systems Administrator to make sure our domain is whitelisted and you continue to receive our communications. Our social media accounts are being migrated this week and if you are following us on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn you will automatically follow us on the new MoboTrex social media pages. Our popular Tuesday Traffic Tips has been rebranded Tuesday Traffic Talks and will contain more information about us and most importantly information that helps you be an expert in our industry.
