Welcome to this week's "Tuesday Traffic Tips."
Summertime is here and there are some special safety issues that should be kept in mind.
- Watch out for children and pedestrians, with summer and holidays more people are out and about.
- Look out for road constructions and detours as most of these occur during the summer.
- Pay attention to stress and fatigue. Additional heat in summer and traffic delay can make you feel more tired and less alert than usual.
This week we are featuring "Red light runners" and safer intersections. It's a jungle out there be careful.
|
Intelligent Vehicle technology seeks to promote safer intersections. Right angle collisions can be catastrophic, much worse than rear end collisions.
Click here for this week's Tuesday Traffic Tip to review a feature within the EPAC that is designed to help protect against right angle collisions caused by red light runners.
