Happy Tax Day!  We hope everyone is enjoying their annual date with the IRS.  The good news is that this winter weather is finally behind us (hopefully).  Summer will soon be upon us and we hope to help prepare you for busy travel season with this week's Traffic Tip.

Also, you may notice that "Tuesday Traffic Tips" has a new look, however, we promise to deliver the same useful content as always.  Have a great week!
TRAFFIC TIP

Do you have an intersection where you want to utilize a phase only at specific times of the day?

Are you implementing FYA and want to run "Protected
Only" during rush hour?

Do you have a heavy left turn and want to detector switch during rush hour?

Set up a "free plans" during those periods. Click on this week's Tuesday Traffic Tip  to see how.
TRAFFIC TRIVIA

Do you know your traffic trivia? Here's your chance to show us. Send your answer marketing@browntraffic.com and put "Traffic Trivia" in the subject line.

According to the FHWA Traffic Control Systems Handbook, testing of the installed control system should precede system acceptance by the engineer.  In general, acceptance testing consists of four main tests. Name at least 2 of the four tests conducted for your trivia answer.

The answer to April 1st Traffic Trivia was Kentucky Wildcats.

TRAFFIC "LITES"

Old fashioned Battery Backup Unit on the cabinet?

If you have a funny traffic sign or picture, send it to marketing@browntraffic.com .
As always, we thank your for reading this week's Tuesday Traffic Tip.  If you have any suggestions to make this newsletter better, feel free to email us any time.
