Camp TLC

•  May 22, 2015 is the last day to withdraw from a TLC summer camp to avoid being financially responsible for any week presently enrolled in summer camp.
• Please check the Parent Portal to ensure that your child(ren) are enrolled in the desired summer camp weeks and/or the 2015/2016 school year; if not, submit a Request for Change on the Parent Portal detailing your request.
• Weeks 1 and 2 of Camp TLC are due 6/8/15.

• August and September fees for TLC Preschool are due 6/22/15.
• Please check the TLC Parent Portal to ensure that your child(ren) are enrolled in 2015-2016 TLC Preschool; if not, submit a Request for Change on the Parent Portal detailing your request.

• If you don't have current credit card authorizations on file, you will need to submit both the 2014/2015 (for all TLC Camps) and 2015/2016 school year credit card authorizations. Please visit our website to download the forms.

Hello Everyone,
 

April has been such a fun filled month, the before-school children have enjoyed making springtime crafts such as our "Hello Kitty" bulletin board and hand print flower garden. They also enjoyed making tissue paper rain drops and umbrellas. Sand Art has been a big hit this month too. The children made seashell necklaces, flower, butterfly, and bird key chains, and animal pictures all out of sand!!! We had fun making slime as well. The children have also been enjoying the group games Bingo, Mum, and 7-up.

After-school children helped decorate the room for spring. They made kites, tissue paper butterflies, chicks, butterfly wreaths, and bunnies. They loved our "Springtime Celebration" where they searched for eggs with prizes inside, played "pin the cotton tale on the bunny"; carrot limbo, plastic egg toss, bunny hop, and had an egg spoon race. The children have been enjoying lots of outside time. They love playing organized games with the staff such as:  man from Mars, run the bases, kickball, and basketball. They used sidewalk chalk to play hopscotch and four squares.
 

The children love making up iron bead magnets, painting sun catchers, filling vases with sand art, and playing with Play-Doh. We also have lots of fun playing wax museum, musical squares, freeze dance, and Simon Says as a group. We have had a great month and we are looking forward to a wonderful May!!!
