My goodness, March sure came in like a lion with lots of snow and brutal cold! Lucky for us, that didn't last too long.

We began the month by celebrating Dr. Seuss and Next came St. Patrick's Day! We made a rainbow in a cup for snack, which was a lot of fun and took a while to create. If anyone would like to know how we did it, please ask. We also enjoyed cupcakes with our rainbows. We also created crafts all week that helped celebrate St. Patrick's Day. his birthday. The staff did a wonderful job decorating the outside bulletin board and the children sure enjoyed making fun crafts like the cat in the hat and truffula trees. We enjoyed talking about Dr. Seuss and our favorite stories.
We all enjoyed making fun crafts for March, from Dr. Seuss, rainbows and shamrocks, to lions and lambs, there were so many crafts to enjoy. Luckily, by mid-month the warmer temperatures allowed us to get outside. The children were thrilled to be outside for the afternoon. I think the staff and the children needed to get out into the fresh air and run around. In April, we will be doing lots of spring crafts. We will be having a fun spring egg hunt and party on April 2nd. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me at Booth Hill.
