E-NEWS FROM TLC DANIELS FARM

We started the New Year off great! January was very fun. Before-school children had a blast playing with their iron bead creations. They made many different animals, shapes, and mind craft creations. They also enjoy playing group games like "Bingo" or "7-up". The boys love building with the big blocks. They make houses, buildings, and ships. If they are not participating in one of the activities listed above they either playing with PlayDoh or doing an activity at the TLC Art Center.
After-school the children spent time in the gym playing group activities such as: 7-up, 4-corners, run the bases, basketball, mum, and man from Mars. If they are not in the gym they are either in the café coloring, playing board/card games, doing the craft of the day, or playing at centers.
This month the children enjoyed making glitter stars, building paper sculptures, making yarn scarves, and iron bead magnets. They also love playing with sand art. They are very creative and use their imaginations by putting on talent shows and plays for each other. We enjoyed ringing in the New Year and are extremely excited and looking forward to a fun filled February

REGISTRATION NEWS

Please accept our apologies as we are still working on updating the TLC Parent Portal. Registration for TLC Preschool, and TLC Summer Camp programs is currently on hold until we are able to get the Parent Portal up and running.
Should you have an interest in either the TLC Preschool Program and or TLC Summer Camp, please send an email to registration@tlctrumbull.com and include your child's name, birthday, school, and grade in the body of the email, and the program you want in the subject line. We will then add your name to our interest list. We will send you an email along with registration instructions once you are able to log into the Parent Portal and register.
Again we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we ask for your patience as we are working to improve the TLC Parent Portal.

STORM ALERTS & TLC PROCEDURES

During this time of year it is important to keep an eye out for the storm alerts on the local news.TLC follows the Trumbull Public Schools decision regarding weather related delays and closures. Sometimes TLC does not get the notification in time for the early news broadcast. If in doubt, please remember that TLC will do the following:
- If Trumbull Public Schools have a 90 minute delay, TLC is open at 8:30 am.
- If Trumbull Public Schools have a 2 ˝ hour delay, then TLC is open at 9:30 am.
- If Trumbull Public Schools are closed, then TLC is also closed.
