Greetings from Middlebrook! We hope that everyone had a great holiday break even though it went by so fast.
This month the after-school children enjoyed time outside on the warmerdays. They also really like roller skating in the school's gymnasium. All the kids seem to have been getting better and better at roller skating every time they participate. They also spent time making Christmas and winter crafts to decorate our room with: Christmas wreaths, Christmas elves, and gingerbread men which are hanging up.

The before-school children also had a great time making Christmas and winter decorations for our room. They made Star of David sun catchers and construction paper menorahs. They loved using the large selection of coloring sheets to color different pictures. The children have also enjoyed playing competitive card games with each other and staff.
Coming up in January the children will be making more winter crafts, continue roller skating, and participate in Model Magic on Mondays.
A quick thank you to all the parents who contributed to our huge Gingerbread Houses event and our Holiday Party. They were a huge success and we could not have done it without all of the help and support from our parents!
