Dr. George will also be presenting at the USAG Region 8 Congress in New Orleans on June 19-21, 2015.
The theme for this year is "Success is a Team Effort." There will be over 75 Sessions covering the following areas: Business, Judging, Sports Science, Preschool & School-Age instruction, Developmental, Compulsory & Optional coaching on all events.

Selected topics from Dr. George's international best-seller
"Championship Gymnastics: Biomechanical Techniques for Shaping Winners" will be covered (excerpt below...).

"And now the silence of the crowd becomes deafening. Electricity permeates the air as a wide-eyed child walks onto the international podium. The awesome, bland faces of the technical evaluators seem to employ X-ray vision as they pointedly stare through the child's eyes and into the back of her skull. The stage is set, and irrevocable judgment will now be rendered. That "automatic pilot" inherent in all great gymnasts is called upon to tell its story. It is a story of performance quality, centering solely on the product and not the manner in which it was constituted...

But without a rigorous training program centered on tedious attention to detail, painstaking exactness, and uncompromising expectations-without persistence, focus, and courage to keep on getting up there to try again and again and again after failing-championship performance remains forever a dream, half hidden in the heart of the child."
