WHY ORGANIC COTTON?
Organic cotton is cotton that is grown without chemical fertilizers, insecticide or pesticide. Most organically grown cotton is hand-picked. No foliage toxins required in machine harvesting have been used in the cultivation of the cotton. The production of organic cotton is more expensive than the production of conventional cotton. Organic cotton is produced in organic agricultural systems according to clearly established standards. Any infestation is fought with biological agents. Fields are rotated to create living soils that can store water better and thus reduce water consumption - a significant contribution to improve the quality of life in the country of manufacture.
Cotton fabrics are very comfortable to wear due to their softness. Cotton has excellent absorbing capabilities. It absorbs perspiration, thus keeping the person more comfortable. Check out our Featured Collection for a wide variety of cotton garments to suit your style. |
