Welcome to fall! As the days grow short and holidays get underway, what better way to show your support for all that's vibrant, alive and playful in our state than with a gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust by December 31? You have six short weeks, so please Give Today. With your help we'll reach that $4 million mark, meaning more money in 2013 for arts, heritage and humanities projects statewide.
Last year over 80% of donors made a gift in the last three weeks of the year, making this time between Thanksgiving and New Years truly the season of giving and gratitude. Read more about year end giving, where your donation goes, and our generous tax credit.
We have much to be grateful for here in Oregon, including our colorful cultural landscape. Wishing you Happy Thanksgiving from the Oregon Trust, your state's cultural champion.

The Cultural Trust asked celebrated Portland-based photographer Holly Andres to capture iconic Oregonians in their native cultural habitats. The results are as magical and inspiring as Oregon culture itself. See more photos from Holly's travels on Oregon Culture: A Field Guide.
As Holly has been roaming the state with her cameras, Trust staff and board members have also been on the move, speaking to groups, discussing year-end giving and the 2013 re-authorization of the cultural tax credit so critical to the work that we do. The Cultural Trust was proud to be featured so prominently for the fourth year in a row in
Willamette Week's Give!Guide. In addition to a full-page, full-color ad, Willamette Week's Give!Guide targets 36 Portland area cultural non-profits with a small "OCT" button, designating them as matches for a Trust donation so that donors can qualify for the cultural tax credit.
Don't miss out on Willamette Week's "Big Day" Incentives. Anyone who donates $10 or more through the Give!Guide on specific days will be entered to win certain prizes. Today, November 15th's prize? A Salt & Straw ice-cream p ersonal party for up to 200 people at the Salt and Straw ice cream company. Read more about Give!Guide "Big Day" Incentives and Cultural Trust media partnerships with OPB and Community Newspapers.
Thank you to Richard Meeker, Nick Johnson and Carly Hutchens for all your hard work on this year's Willamette Week Give!Guide!
