William Roach, ASLA, LEED AP Joins Siegfried
 As Siegfried's Landscape Architecture Department Manager, Bill brings more than 17 years of professional experience with both public and private clients on projects ranging from large scale urban design to site specific planning and master planned development. He has managed diverse consultant teams and is experienced in facilitating the community design and input process. As the senior LEED Accredited Professional, Bill leads sustainability design at Siegfried and is responsible for overall project theming, design direction and oversight, public participation, and master planning. Bill's design expertise and understanding of how people interact with places informs his management and design of interactive spaces that truly engage the public. Moving from initial design concept through construction, Bill is also adept at managing design projects by clearly articulating goals, ideas, and ultimately building consensus. Matt Cunningham, PLS Joins Siegfried
 As Siegfried's Survey Department Manager, Matt brings an extensive resume of diverse projects with over 22 years of management and field experience to our survey team. He is responsible for the continued success of large public and private surveying and construction staking projects throughout Northern California and beyond.
Matt and his team of professional surveyors perform boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, photo controls for aerial photography, and stake the layout of buildings, subdivisions, roadways, and other construction projects.
Matt is a member of the California Land Surveyors Association and the Immediate Past President of the Central Coast Chapter.

Ripon Christian Memorial Stadium
 For over eighty years, Ripon Christian has provided students with excellent academic training for a wide range of careers and higher educational levels, while at the same time offering opportunities and encouragement for significant spiritual growth.The school has a rich history of athletic success through a variety of team and individual sporting programs, but has lacked the cohesion of having a centralized stadium venue.
To assist, Siegfried is developing a conceptual plan including several perspective renderings to promote their new Memorial Stadium.The emphasis is to create an exciting project which will aid in the generation of donations for construction.Siegfried, working with the school, is developing a plan which includes a new natural turf field, gathering plazas, water features, snack bar, restrooms, ticketing booth, scoreboard, bleachers, team room, walkways, two-story press box, parking lots, and a terraced viewing area.The plan is for phase I construction of the field for the team's next football season.

Kirk Ausban Receives CA Structural Engineering License
Siegfried is pleased to announce Kirk Ausban, P.E., S.E., has recently received his California license in Structural Engineering. Kirk successfully manages and directs a broad range of project types, providing management and leadership to some of Siegfried's largest structural engineering projects. Kirk's broad knowledge stems from over seven years of experience, and as a passionate participant in the structural engineering profession, he continues to raise the bar on the quality of Siegfried's work. Most recently, Kirk was the lead structural engineer for the newly constructed Universal Services Recycling Shredder project located in Stockton, CA. His designs included a two-story process building, conveyor system supports and foundations, and a specialized matt foundation for the 250 ton shredder installation. Clients applauded Kirk for his attention to detail in designing the complex project layouts, leading to an efficient time saving installation process.

Carnegie Library and Arts Center Wins Blueprint Award
 Earlier this month, the eight San Joaquin Valley Councils of Governments announced that the City of Turlock had been selected to receive a 2012 San Joaquin Valley Blueprint Historic Revitalization Award of Merit for the Carnegie Library and Arts Center.
The San Joaquin Valley Blueprint was created in 2009 as a vision for the future of the San Joaquin Valley, in which less land is consumed for development, more resources are preserved for future generations, distinctive communities are enhanced, and more travel choices are available.
As one of only a handful of arts centers in the Central Valley, the Carnegie Arts Center is the premiere visual arts center both locally and regionally. It operates according to core values and in keeping with its mission of bringing diverse community and regional audiences together to experience and celebrate art in all its forms. As such, it has played a significant role in a revitalized downtown and promoting tourism for the betterment of the community. Siegfried provided civil engineering and surveying services for the project Architect for both on-site and off-site improvement plans. Services also included providing a topographic survey, lot line adjustments, and construction support services.
