God Promises He Will Know Our Needs - (Isaiah 65:24)

Bible Promise
Before you even call out to Me, I will answer you.

Bible Verse
It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.

Reading Notes
This verse in Isaiah speaks about the relationship we have with God. It's found in the section of scripture which talks about the future glory of all of God's people. This comes after the creation of the new heavens and the new earth. Keep in mind this reference includes Jesus' Millennial Kingdom as well. This will be a time when our relationship with God will be so close, God Himself will answer our questions before we ask. In addition, we can say in general this passage speaks about our relationship with God now as well. Our relationship with God, through Christ Jesus our Lord. About walking so closely with the Lord and having such close communication with God that He knows our request before we ask. This is the true heart of Christianity, it's about our love for Jesus.

It's about relationship! It's about our faith in Jesus and the restored relationship we have with God the Father through our faith in Christ. Today it's true that God knows our needs before we ask. However, from our perspective it can seem God is far away from us when in fact He never left. This is because many times we are not walking with God. Many times we've let our relationship with the Lord grow cold, because we have focused on ourselves and the things of this world. And as a result, our will is not aligned with God's will and we ask for things to fulfill our sinful desires, rather than seeking the will of God. However, if we regularly spend time with God and with His word, we will begin to better align our will with God's will, and as a result we will see answered prayers and His work done in our lives.
