God Promises His Faithfulness and Word Are Always True - (Psalm 33:4)

Bible Promise
You can trust in My faithfulness because My Word is true.

Bible Verse
For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in truth.

Reading Notes
This psalm was meant as a worship song to the Lord, for His sovereignty in the creation of the universe and everything in it.  God is in control and His work is evident throughout all of creation and throughout the universe. Therefore, through faith, we can trust in Him! And because of God's goodness and His love for us as our creator we can have a personal and close relationship with Him. The Bible tells us in the opening passages of John's Gospel that Jesus Christ is very God. John calls Jesus the "Word" or "Logos." This word refers to the physical presence of God. In other words, someone who is both fully God and fully man. John then tells us about Jesus, "that the Word was with God and that the Word was God." In addition, John explains to us that Jesus is the author of creation, that "all things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." In addition, Paul in his letter to the Colossian church, tells us not only is Jesus the Author of creation, but that, "in Him all things are held together."

Dear child of God this is so very important to us, because our faith is not a misplaced faith. Our faith is in the very God of the universe, who is the Author of creation. And it was Jesus, who is the very God of Heaven, who stepped out of eternity and took on flesh in order that He may die for us. He did this in order to to reconcile us back to God the Father for all those who place their faith in Him alone. Therefore, through Jesus our relationship with God has been restored. Because of what Jesus did for us at the cross of Calvary, and through our faith in Him, we who were at enmity with God, have been reconciled back to God. We become right before God not because of what we did, or any merit within our person, but because of what Jesus did for us and our faith in Him. We get to put on the righteousness of Christ and thereby prove our faithfulness to God because we believed His word and accepted Jesus by faith alone. The Bible promises us that if we place our faith in Jesus for salvation, God will adopt us into His family as children of God and joint-heirs with Christ in the kingdom of God.
