Happy Birthday, Boo Zamek!

From Team JAB
It's fitting that Boo's birthday falls on the first day of our warmest and sunniest season! Boo certainly has a lot to celebrate, including a growing community of more than 30,000 JABBERS who are committed to helping their friends and neighbors! Boo's talent for connecting people and her passion for her community intersected when she launched JustAskBoo five years ago. Today, Boo is widely considered an entrepreneur, philanthropist and community leader who created South Florida's premier online resource that connects in-the-know readers across four local markets.  To us, her ever-growing Team JAB, she is an amazing leader who inspires everyday. To her friends, Boo is fiercely loyal, kind and fun - she always puts a smile on everyone's face. And to her family, Boo is a beautiful person who is devoted to her two adorable daughters, Caroline and Aly, and her husband, Paul. We wish Boo a very happy birthday and a year full of love, happiness and success. Light the Way

From Judy Donaldson:  REPLY
We would like to replace the high hat lighting above our front doors, but have not had any luck finding attractive flush mount fixtures. If you know an experienced lighting expert who can advise us, please send me his/her contact information. Thank you!

The Fourth of July Connection
From Winnie Pritchett:  REPLY
While the holiday season is hard for deployed soldiers, it is often the summer months when many feel the most disconnected, forgotten, and far from home. That's why we are excited to announce that for the month of June, Apple will be giving us an 8% discount! This means we can buy loads more iPads for our brave troops!  We need your help to meet our goal of donating 20 iPads by the Fourth of July! Please consider donating before the end of the month and join us in saying thank you! After all, it is their dedication and sacrifice that allows us to celebrate our continued independence! Click HERE to donate.*

Under Control

From Anonymous:  REPLY
Can anyone recommend an endocrinologist that they just love? For the past eight years, I have been struggling with extreme fatigue in the middle of the day, difficulty regulating my body temperature and extreme irritability. My gynecologist and family doctor both say that my symptoms are related to my age and stress. I am currently in my late 40s and would like to get these symptoms under control before I approach menopause. If you can recommend an endocrinologist, particularly one who treats individuals with high calcium levels in their blood and high prolactin levels, I would love to hear from you! I am willing to travel anywhere in Palm Beach County. Thanks!

Safe and Secure

From Ayleen Wolfe:  REPLY

Stovetop Solutions

From Amanda Birks:  REPLY
I need advice. The glass stovetop on my Whirlpool oven in my rental unit is cracked. It costs $400 to replace it. Does it make more sense to replace the entire unit instead? I see comparable, gently used models for about $100 less. Your input is appreciated. Thanks!

Carolina In My Mind
From Mariela Ray:  REPLY
I have turned to JABBERS in the past and have gotten amazing services from your recommendations. Now I need your help again! My family is relocating to North Carolina in about a year and I am looking for the perfect place to live - I'm open to living anywhere in the state. My first priority is to find an excellent high school. We are currently at Palmetto so I'd like something on par. I'd also like to find a place with a slower pace of life (not too slow) with less traffic and stress. Your feedback on cities/towns in the state is much appreciated. Thank you!

Mark Your Calendars!
This fall, we will commemorate our five-year anniversary in typical JAB style, with a cocktail party that also gives back to our community through United Way of Miami-Dade. And when we say "cocktail party," we mean a fabulous fete that will have you prepping and primping for days!  Come rub elbows at the Zadok Gallery in Wynwood with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres by Bill Hansen Catering, and of course, plenty of JABBING.

While you are supporting local brewers and distributors, you can also enjoy live music and delicious food. There will even be an inflatable surf simulator!
