Affairs of the Heart
From Anonymous:  REPLY
I think my husband is having an affair but I'm afraid to confront him about it in the off-chance that I am incorrect. If anyone has experienced this before and could offer advice on how to handle this matter delicately, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks!

Cost of Admission
From Kayla Hopkins:  REPLY
I have been invited to my boss's daughter's wedding and would like to give her an appropriate monetary gift. I have been told by a few people that the amount I give should be based on the per person amount it costs to attend the reception. If you have any advice, I would love to hear from you. Thank you!

Warning Signs

From Lissa Dorsey JustAskBoo Palm Beach Editor
Summer vacation is here JABBERS, which means you will likely be spending more time at the beach and pool in the days ahead. By now, many of you may have seen the article Drowning Doesn't Look Like Drowning posted on Facebook. I experienced a near-drowning incident with my son recently and believe that if I had read this article prior to the incident, I would have been able to react faster. While I am fortunate that I was able to pull my son successfully from the pool, I think it is an important story to share.

During a recent swim lesson with an excellent instructor, my son's teacher and I were watching him practice swimming to the wall. He had done this hundreds of times. He was in the shallow part of the pool with his teacher about five feet behind him and I was standing at the edge just inches away from him. In an instant, something went wrong. He wasn't flailing his arms around in the water, kicking his legs or making choking sounds. He wasn't exhibiting any of the signs of distress I assumed were present when someone was drowning. He appeared to just be standing still. But he was in fact drowning. The signs of drowning can be so subtle that even a parent and a swim instructor standing inches away can miss it. Please learn the signs of drowning and help keep your loved ones safe this summer.

Puppy Love
From Tory Joeckel:  REPLY
We would like to add a female, yellow labrador retriever puppy to our family. We would prefer not to buy from a puppy mill or warehouse breeder, but instead from a private individual whose dog has recently had or will soon be having a litter of puppies. If you know anyone you could put us in contact with, please contact me. Thanks!
