Is There a (Tree) Doctor in the House?

We have a beautiful Gumbo Limbo tree in our front yard that was attacked by white flies. We had it treated but it may have been too late as most of the tree appears to have died. Since the tree still has two small, green blooms on it, I am hoping to find someone who can come to our home to examine it and tell us what to do to save it. On the RocksMy four-year-old suffers from a very stubborn form of eczema and my seven-year-old has asthma. I am considering taking them to The Salt Suite in Delray for salt therapy which I hear is an effective, natural way of treating these conditions.  Let's Celebrate!

Although Earth Day does not officially take place until April 22, Palm Beach is already celebrating. Grab a blanket and a picnic basket and listen to the Lorax "speak for the trees" at the Waterfront's Screen on the Green this Friday. Eyes on LASIK
I am researching to find out whether my daughter is a candidate for LASIK eye surgery. She has severe astigmatism so I'm not sure if she would qualify for this surgery or another type of non-invasive correction. Has anyone had LASIK surgery that corrected their astigmatism? If you had a positive experience with a doctor, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks for any suggestions or advice!
