While basketball season remains in full swing for the Miami Heat and March Madness is still weeks away, the season officially came to an end for over 1500 boys and girls this past weekend in Palm Beach Gardens and Team JAB had a front row seat for all the action. With their biggest fans cheering them on in the stands at the Burns Road Recreation Center, the teams took to the courts in the playoffs giving it their all for a chance to compete for the championship title. In the end, only one team from each division left the gymnasium with this coveted title but without a doubt, every player was a winner. After watching these kids support and encourage one another and work together as a team, it reminded us of our own community of helpers where JABBERS cheer each other on every week. We are thrilled to offer you a platform twice a week where you help answer each other's questions. Last week, you helped a JABBER looking for feedback on a fertility clinic in Colorado and a mother struggling with the decision on whether to medicate her child to manage his ADHD. This week, JABBERS are looking to you for answers on how to successfully navigate the growing pains that come with second marriages and what to wear to their ex-boyfriend's wedding! Thank you for taking time out of your day to help one another. Your responses leave JABBERS feeling like they have an entire team supporting them. Your words inspire, encourage and change lives. And to those of you who read JustAskBoo but have never posted a question, we urge you to give it a try. Thousands of JABBERS are in the stands just waiting with their pom poms to help support and cheer you on. GO TEAM!
Happy Cheering and Happy JABBING!

Parlez-Vous Français?
From Eileen Mortiz: REPLY
We will be moving to France in 2014 for one year. Unfortunately, my children's school does not offer French as a foreign language so I am looking for someone who can teach them one-on-one to prepare them for the move. If you know someone who would be able to do this, please send me their contact information. Merci!

A Family Blend
From Elizabeth Valme: REPLY
I have two daughters from a previous marriage, ages nine and eleven, who live with me and my husband. My husband also has two daughters from a previous marriage, ages eight and ten, who live with their mother and stay with us every other weekend. Their mother will be traveling overseas for work until June and the girls have asked to stay with us so that they can finish the school year. I am happy to do this as the girls are absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, when the four girls get together, all they do is argue. I am looking for recommendations on how to help keep the peace over the next three months and also ideas on how we can help the girls bond with one another. Any suggestions or personal experiences you can share are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Fashion or Faux-Pas?
From Kayla Hopkins: REPLY
I have a gorgeous white Badgley Mischka gown that I have only had the opportunity to wear one time. I was recently invited to a black-tie wedding in New York City and would like to wear it. A few of my friends have told me it is okay to wear white to a black-tie wedding but I would like to make sure as the groom is my ex-boyfriend and I don't want to be perceived as trying to upstage the bride. I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks so much!

The Cost of GreatnessFrom Veronica McNab: REPLY My nine-year-old daughter has been taking private ice skating lessons for a few years and has expressed an interest in pursuing it competitively. If you have experience supporting a child athlete at the competitive level, I would love to hear from you. I am interested in receiving feedback regarding the time and financial commitment that is involved and whether you feel it has been worth it. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance!

Fits Like a Glove
My work involves stretching canvases. Doing this repeatedly is beginning to wreak havoc on my hands. Can anyone recommend a glove suitable for this kind of work that isn't a major fashion eye sore? Thanks so much!
