Creation of LGBTQ Parenting Group

Hi all,

We had our first meeting to discuss the creation of an LGBTQ Parenting Group in collaboration with Parenting Place on Monday evening. It was open to any community members who were interested in providing ideas and feedback for the group. We will hold another meeting for those who could not attend and would like to THIS Friday, April 12, 10-11am at Parenting Place, 1235 Pine Street.

Parenting Place, Boulder For those of you who are not familiar with Parenting Place, it provides support and playgroups, educational resources, Spanish language programs, parenting workshops and classes, and assistance accessing community resources. Parenting Place also has a donation closet and food pantry. The organization aims to build a community of confident parents and healthy families.

I am exciting for the creation of this new group. At Out Boulder we aim to provide resources and activities for all segments of our community, each with their own unique needs. We are always willing to work with volunteers who would like to start a group so if you are interested in starting one of your own, please contact me! And stay tuned for further announcements about our new LGBTQ Parenting Group.

In Solidarity,

Jen Spolnik, Program & Marketing Manager

I do first co civil unions celebrationMay 1st is going to be a great day to celebrate in Boulder! The county clerk's office will open in Boulder so that couples who have waited 20+ years don't have to wait one minute longer. Thank you to the clerk's office for their support!
