SPEAKING OUT TRAINING - NOV. 3

9:45 am - 3pm @ First United Methodist Church, 1421 Spruce Street
Make a change with your Coming Out story. Join our training for Speaking Out to join panels at local schools to create a better understanding of the LGBT community, combat bullying, and support LGBT kids. Speaking Out is an all-volunteer LGBT and Allied educational speakers' bureau. We conduct approximately 60 community speaking engagements annually in local middle school, high school, and college classrooms. Speaking Out also talks with business, organizations and community groups. By utilizing storytelling and personal connections, Speaking Out's mission is to cultivate awareness and understanding of LGBT lives and experiences. This is a rewarding opportunity! Lunch provided.  RSVP by Thursday, Nov. 1 to Ilene, our Speaking Out Coordinator.

End-of-Year Office Organizing and Cleaning Party

Connect with the LGBT community! Help with our marketing efforts, office duties, health & wellness programs, and everything that makes Out Boulder tick! The ideal person will be organized, dependable, and available for a couple hours a week between Tuesday and Thursday, 9am-1pm. And if you really love it, you can certainly work more hours outside of the office! Contact Jen.

We need a simple flyer created with the following info:  "Mosquita y Mari"screening at the First Congregational Church of Christ in Longmont (1500 Ninth Ave)  7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, PFLAG is co-sponsoring this event with Bent Lens Cinema and Out Boulder.  There will be a Bent Lens Salon immediately following the film.  Admission is free.
