It's been quite a while. if you can help out with volunteerism, you can help me figure out what volunteer positions are available, draft volunteer emails, and plug people into roles that get them engaged.
Last I was around was Pridefest. I hope you all had a chance to make it to Pridefest this year. It was a blast and we couldn't have done it without the help of our wonderful volunteers. We had over 50 people help out at the event.

November 3rd - SpeakingOUT Training
RSVP now for the next SpeakingOUT training. If you are interested in the SpeakingOUT program, this is a great way to get more information and is generally required for participation in the program. I have been a speaker on panels and it is a very rewarding experience. More details here. RSVP to Ilene Blum if you would like to attend.
New Volunteer Opportunities: PRIDEHOUSE HELP We need some volunteers to help out around the Pridehouse in a few different areas. We need some help taking inventory of the Pridehouse attic (perfect for aspiring vampires, serial murderers, or V.C. Andrews protagonists), testing our tents so we know they are working before we take them to events, installing lightswitch plates since we painted (super easy, no electric skills required), and organizing the office supplies in the office closet (for those who know their cardstock from their construction paper). Most of these projects you can drop in during regular office hours to do. You can also bring a friend! I will need someone to help me with volunteer coordination, including receiving volunteer forms and entering the information into our database, sending emails to new and prospective volunteers, helping develop volunteer job descriptions and training manuals, etc. Email me: volunteer@outboulder.org
Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities: OUTREACH HELP - FLYERING
Volunteers are needed to post flyers provided to you around Boulder County, primarily the city of Boulder. These can be posted at coffee shops, restaurants, on Pearl Street, Naropa and CU, and other targeted locations dependent on the particular flyer. 1 hour per week on your own time, at your own leisure. Help us spread the word about the great events and programs we have to offer! Contact Jen, jspolnik@outboulder.org or 303.499.5777. FACEBOOK VOLUNTEER 
We need help with creating facebook events. We can show you how to get information from our website to create facebook events and then invite our staff so we can invite lots of people. This is a fun and easy way to volunteer. For more info, contact Jen: jspolnik@outboulder.org HAPPY HOUR COORDINATOR 
Do you love beer? I do! Help us coordinate our monthly happy hour events. Secure the venue and talk to the owners, put it on the online calendar, create a facebook event, invite your friends, and then bring the tabling supplies and accept donations. That's all you have to do. Do it monthly or one time. Contact me if you are interested in helping organize these events: volunteer@outboulder.org DESIGN HELP Does creativity drive you? Can you put together simple flyers and graphics? We are looking for design help for flyers on occasion (perhaps 2 a month). If you would love to volunteer for us in this capacity, please contact Jen, jspolnik@outboulder.org. HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT We would like to find someone to come weekly for about 2 hours per week.
