Classic Boat ShopOctober 2015 News
Autumn mornings: sunshine and crisp air, birds and calmness, year's end and day's beginnings. Terri Guillemets
A peaceful October sunset over Bass Harbor Marsh

We have had such an amazing fall thus far.  The foliage is just about peaking everywhere and the colors have been spectacular!  Most of  the boats in our care  have been hauled and nestled inside for the 'off' season.  We have begun scheduling the coming months with Pisces to build and service projects. As water activities conclude, planning and work has already begun for 2016!

We love and respect the beauty of the sea and understand her fury and power;  Our hearts are heavy with news of the recent El Faro tragedy and we would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to those affected.  We hope that their families and loved ones find the answers and resolution needed to be at peace.

Pisces 21 Updates

We have begun planning the next two Pisces for completion for Spring 2016 delivery and will be posting updates as the building progresses.  One will be sailed near Newcastle, NH  while the second will be nearby in Northeast Harbor.   We are so excited for both owners and look forward to working with them to bring their dreams to fruition. Congratulations!

Akela (L) completes her 9th season accompanied by 'Lynx' (R) returning for storage after her first summer

The days have been sunny and warm and the doors of the Acadia building are still open.  The Pisces 'Snapper' and 'Northwest'  bask in the afternoon sun.

We have over two dozen Pisces in our care for the winter months with many different available options. All are comfortably stored indoors and a visit to the yard is a wonderful opportunity to compare various boats and options at your leisure.

If you are considering a Pisces, New or Used  please contact Jean to arrange a visit and sail.
Brokerage Update

We would like to congratulate the new owners of the Pisces 21, 'Aurora' as well as the new owners of the Pisces 21 'La Pas'.  Congratulations and we wish you the very best of sailing and adventures aboard your  Pisces.

We are constantly updating our listings with additions, photos and price changes. Please see our Current Brokerage Listings to peruse our diverse inventory of boats.

Here are two of our most recent brokerage listings:

The Pisces 21 'Peggy Bee' is a rare offering for a cold mold wood Pisces with an electric drive. She has been professionally maintained and lightly sailed in fresh water for past 7 seasons. Her varnished mahogany and bronze fittings have a lovely aged patina.   For more information and details please see the complete listing.

The Morris Leigh 30 'Solace' will be stored with us and available for showing on short notice.  She has been well maintained and had many recent upgrades.  The interior is clean and bright in the tradition of 'Herreshoff' and the earlier yachts produced by Morris Yachts.  More photos are available in the detailed listing or contact Dave Gillespie to arrange a visit.

Fall is the perfect time to make arrangements for the coming winter months in warmer climes or to leisurely plan for commissioning your boat next Spring.
