Meet the Interns

Hello, my name is Molly Neil and I am one of the spring interns working for ACTS this semester. I am a Pella native and currently a senior at Central College. In May, I will graduate from Central as a Communications Studies major with interests in Marketing and Public Relations. This semester I will be working as the Marketing/
Communication intern for ACTS, meaning that I will be responsible for developing marketing and communication materials for events this spring. As an upcoming college graduate I am excited for the opportunity to grow and learn from my experience at ACTS both personally and professionally.

Hi, my name is Angie Allgood and
I am one of the interns with ACTS Ministries this spring.  Currently, I am a junior at Central College where I am majoring in Business Management with minors in Not-for-Profit Management and Sociology.  I am the Community Outreach intern, so I have the opportunity to assist in the organization of volunteer projects and communicate with some of the clients of ACTS. I just arrived back from a mission trip to Southern Texas where I was privileged to be on the front-lines of a few building projects, and now I am excited to help behind the scenes with service project preparation.  I am blessed to get the opportunity to learn from the professionals involved with ACTS while getting to watch the ways God is at work in the Pella community.

Vermeer VTO (Volunteer Time Off) Project

Vermeer provides their Pella based employees the opportunity to utilize eight hours of paid time off to serve.  Recently, two Vermeer employees used their VTO option to help clean and organize the ACTS shop.  Click on the below link to see before and after pictures.
