Best known for his two-decade portrayal of psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane on the NBC sitcoms Cheers and Frasier, Kelsey Grammer drew media attention last week when he posted a photo of himself wearing a pro-life shirt to his Instagram account last week.
Whoopi Goldberg introduced a segment on The View by noting that Grammer was "causing a lot of controversy" by wearing an "anti-abortion shirt." She continued, "Should abortion be equated with gun violence?"
Co-host Paula Faris offered an explanation, "They're saying when children are affected by gun violence -- that gets our attention... but when children are aborted, it doesn't seem like we care." Read more in our lead article this week...

On Saturday, approximately 70,000 pro-life protesters showed up at Planned Parenthood locations across the country to expose their organ harvesting business and demand an end to taxpayer funding of abortion.
The Christian Post reports that David Daleiden from The Center for Medical Progress spoke at his local Planned Parenthood in Orange County, California and Lila Rose (pictured above) of Live Action spoke at the protest in Pasadena, California. Prior to the event, Daleiden said the following about the Planned Parenthood protests: "I look forward to the opportunity to speak at my local Planned Parenthood Mega Center, which is one of the high-volume surgical abortion facilities across the country where they have been harvesting and selling aborted baby parts over the past several years..."

When held up alongside the factually based and well considered reasons that disability rights organizations oppose legalization of assisted suicide -- mistaken prognoses, insurance denials, family coercion and abuse, among others -- his failure to veto the bill amounts to a breach of his duty to protect all Californians, not just the privileged few who can count on high quality health care and the support of a loving family...
