Join other business professionals and community residents for the Chamber's annual Groundhog Day Community Forecast Breakfast, to be held at Brookside Golf & Country Club, 2770 W. Dublin-Granville Road. The breakfast will be held on the first business day following Groundhog Day - Monday, Feb. 3, from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Breakfast will be served from 7 to 7:30 a.m., and the program and panel discussion will begin promptly at 7:30.*
Share in community leaders' predictions for 2014 and consider how their predictions - and redevelopment opportunities in the Worthington area - might affect area businesses. "Redevelopment" will be a common theme among presenters of the event.
Learn about key events during the past year and planned initiatives from leaders of ... - the City of Worthington (City Manager Matt Greeson);
- Worthington Libraries (Libraries CEO Chuck Gibson);
- Worthington Schools (Superintendent of Schools Thomas Tucker);
- our Congressional district; and
- representatives of the Ohio Department of Transportation who are working on the I-270/US 23 interchange
After a brief introduction, these leaders will participate in a panel discussion to address issues and questions on the minds of Chamber-member businesses and event guests.
The Groundhog Day Community Forecast Breakfast is also a great networking opportunity; last year, more than 175 guests attended to hear city, schools and library leaders and ODOT District 6 Director Ferzan Ahmed.
