Promote your business with a donation of a gift card for December BAH fundraising activity
|
In preparation for the Dec. 11 Business After Hours at Four Points by Sheraton - Polaris, the Chamber is seeking donations of gift cards and certificates for a fun- and fund-raising activity that will be part of the holiday BAH. Attendees will participate in a mystery gift card grab-bag activity that supports Chamber scholarships for Leadership Worthington, Women's Business Network, and other Chamber-sponsored local business and school district projects and partnerships. Here's how:
From a line-up of festive gift bags that all look alike, BAH guests may elect to purchase one or more bags for a donation of $20 each. Each will contain a minimum of $25 in gift cards from local and national stores and gift certificates from Chamber members.
Just in time for holiday gift-giving, the gift cards will make great gifts for clients, employees, co-workers and friends, or ways to pamper yourself with services, products and meals during the stressful end-of-year season.
Interested in donating gift cards and certificates to promote your business? Contact Max Good at (614) 888-3040. (Note: Coupons and certificates that require additional purchase, or include a mandatory sales demo, will not be included.)

Be the host with the most (promotional opportunity) when you bring an event to your workplace in 2014
|
As many of our member companies are budgeting and scheduling for 2014 activities, it's also time to complete our Chamber's calendar of Business After Hours, Business Before Hours, lunches, QuickConnect sessions, Lunch and Learns, and subgroup events for the coming year. If your company can host an event at your workplace in 2014, please e-mail Max@worthingtonchamber.org or call us at the Chamber office, 888-3040. Bringing Chamber members and guests to your office is the prime opportunity for business promotion, allowing them to see, first hand, your products and services, to learn about your brand and meet key staff at your business. Hosting Business After Hours events and Business Before Hours events is open to any Chamber-member business that has not hosted a BAH or BBH within the past two years. Contact Max Good for a contract describing the opportunities and responsibilities for an after-hours or before-hours host.
