EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION NOW UNDER WAY THROUGH 7/31
Thank you for your past participation in Market Day.
The 2012 event had more than 250 vendors, including artists, craftspeople, food vendors and community organizations.
The 2013 Market Day event will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, Sept. 21. We hope that you will join us again as an exhibitor.
At the right side of the screen, click on REGISTER NOW and follow the prompts. Be sure to click SUBMIT when your information has been entered. You will receive an email confirmation if your application has been successfully submitted.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express as forms of payment.
On the website, you will also find event details, information on required vendor licensing, and a list of area hotels.

GENERAL VENDOR INFORMATIONAPPLICATION AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES
For a paper copy of an application form: Download a PDF file of the appropriate application in the yellow sections below, under ARTS & CRAFTS VENDOR, COMMUNITY GROUP, FOOD VENDOR or FARMERS MARKET VENDOR, as appropriate.
- Early Bird Application Deadline: Wednesday, July 31 (After the Early Bird deadline, the fee increases by $25). Rates posted online will change automatically after the deadline.
- Payment: Payment in full must be received with your completed application in the form of a check (made payable to Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce) or by VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
- Online registration using a credit card is available only to vendors who have participated in Old Worthington Market Day in the past.
ONLINE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS - RETURNING VENDORS
Online registration, using a VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express as payment, is available for vendors who have participated in Market Day in the past.
- Fill out the application completely.
- Make sure to indicate if payment is by VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express, and complete other information pertaining to credit card processing.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST-TIME VENDORS
First-time vendors in Old Worthington Market Day must submit two clear photographs of their product(s) and one photograph of their display booth for review before they are eligible for online registration. Photos and request for acceptance may be submitted via email to connect@worthingtonchamber.org. Please indicate in the subject line that you are a first-time Market Day vendor requesting approval to participate.
DISPOSITION OF REQUEST
An email message or post card (for those who do not have email), indicating whether a request to participate in the event has been accepted or rejected, will be sent within 10 days of the receipt of an application.
BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS
The assignment of the booth location is based on a number of factors, including previous booth assignment, access to electricity, total space needs, type of craft or artwork and special needs identified by the vendor.
Spaces are 10 by 10 feet square.
Important note: Displays, tents and canopies (including support poles or extensions) must fit within the allotted space. Vendors must purchase additional spaces for larger displays.
Vendors may not change, expand or trade their assigned space with others. Vendors must use the Market Day entrance passes and comply with the Market Day traffic pattern and set-up regulations. Vendors may not remove displays before tear-down. Vendors who do not comply with the regulations will be asked to leave the event without a refund.
NOTIFICATION
Vendor information packets, including booth number(s), will be mailed early in September.
EQUIPMENT
Participants are responsible for providing all of their display materials and equipment (tents, tables, chairs, etc). Weights, not spikes, must be used to anchor tents.
PERMITS AND LICENSES - ALL VENDORS
- The State of Ohio requires a vendor's license for reporting sales tax. Each exhibitor must obtain a vendor's permit prior to the event.
- All permits must be available for inspection, if necessary, on the day of the event.

PERMITS AND LICENSES - ALL EXHIBITORS SERVING FOOD
- Food vendors must obtain their own temporary food license, or permanent mobile food license, from the Columbus Health Department.

ARTS & CRAFTS VENDORS

Arts & Crafts Vendor Application - Please read all general vendor instructions, including guidelines for equipment, permits and licenses, and the liability note.
ELIGIBILITY
- All items sold must be handmade or handcrafted.
- No commercial products will be accepted.
- Priority will be given to artists and craftpersons who are selling their own work.
- To ensure the event's quality standards are met, applicants who did not participate in the 2012 event are required to submit two clear photographs of their product(s) and one photograph of their display booth for review. Photos may be submitted via email to connect@worthingtonchamber.org.For printed photos submitted by mail, only those accompanied with a self-addressed, stamped envelope will be returned.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

Community Group Application - Please read all general vendor instructions, including guidelines for permits and licenses, and the liability note.
ELIGIBILITY
- Community organizations are encouraged to sell handmade or handcrafted items; commercial products will be accepted only if they relate to the community/school/church group (e.g., clothing with the name or logo of a school team or community organization).
- Community groups that have not participated in Market Day in the past must sell a product or food item. New requests for information booths or raffles will not be accepted due to space limitations.

FOOD VENDORS

ELIGIBILITY

Priority will be given to food vendors that offer unique food offerings that are reasonably priced and will enhance the experience of those attending the arts and crafts festival.

Local and Chamber-member restaurants and food vendors will receive priority placement.

ABOUT MARKET DAY 2013

|
Event Date: Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, rain or shine.
Location: Streets of Downtown Worthington - primarily along High Street (SR 23), from SR 161 south to South Street, and on the Village Green.
Hours: Event starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m.
Exhibitor setup begins at
7 a.m.; tear down
ends at 6 p.m.
Market Day, Worthington's largest one-day festival, captures the spirit of earlier days when farmers brought their crops to market.
Today artisans gather on the streets of Old Worthington to present a colorful and varied display of quality hand-crafted goods from jewelry, pottery and ceramics to beautiful paintings, decorative clothing and unique wood products.
More than 20,000 residents and guests visit Market Day each year, many returning annually to shop from favorite vendors.
More than 250 exhibitors are expected to display their wares.
Other attractions include the Worthington Historical Society Flea Market, farmers market vendors, children's activity area and performing groups.

LIABILITY

IMPORTANT LIABILITY NOTICE
By completing the Market Day exhibitor application, the exhibitor/vendor hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Old Worthington Market Day, the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Worthington, their volunteers and representatives from any and all liability arising from participation in this event, including theft of property/merchandise, damage or injury sustained by an exhibitor, his or her representatives or any other person, caused by fire, theft, water or accidents of any sort.
In consideration of this agreement, the exhibitor expressly waives any and all claims, legal or otherwise, for personal injury and/or property damage sustained while on any part of the premise occupied by Old Worthington Market Day, the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Worthington, and representatives held harmless from any and all other actions.

Deadline & Refund Policy

| The Early-Bird Deadline is Wednesday, July 31. Applications made after July 31 must include the higher fee.
Refunds for cancellations, less a $25 processing fee, may be made through July 31; no refunds will be made after that date.
