Tina Kukielski_ ART21 Executive Director
Spring is in the air and with that ART21 is about to sprout its own new blossom. In about a month's time we will be announcing our television series Art in the Twenty-First Century's eighth season. You heard it here first! As we gear up to reveal our latest group of talented international artists, we are taking this moment to stop, look, listen--and renew.

Taking a nod from Gabriel Orozco's featured video from our archive, we invite you "to slow down your thinking" and enjoy two new episodes from the ART21 Exclusive series featuring artist Sarah Sze.

From the series, ART21 Art in the Twenty-First Century
"To be working with my hands with the clay generates a stimulus in the brain. The connection between the brain and the breathing--and the sweating, and the time that you spend, and how you slow down thinking or you accelerate thinking--you generate the different aspects of thinking."
--Gabriel Orozco
Premiered on September 10, 2003
