Easter is Here!

Be sure to join us Sunday when we declare that "Christ the Lord is Risen Today!  Hallelujah!"

You will want to notice all the Easter activities going on at Ridgecrest.  I want to encourage you to use these events as an outreach opportunity to invite friends, co-workers, fellow students, family, neighbors, and any others to participate with you.  Easter is a great time to introduce someone to the Christian faith.

On behalf of the Durham Rescue Mission I want to thank all the Ridgecrest members and Connect Groups for your generous donations towards the Durham Rescue Mission's Easter Outreach.  Your efforts allowed us to provide 32 Easter Baskets and $165 dollars towards this event.  Stay tuned for more ways to support the Durham Rescue Mission in their efforts to shelter and help the addicted and homeless men, women and children in the greater Triangle area. Offering envelopes are available at the Welcome Centers. Please consider giving generously to support Southern Baptist church planting efforts throughout North America.


Our next RBC Institute Growth Intensives will be Sunday afternoon, April 17, from 4-7 pm. Supper is included. There will be courses on Membership Matters, marriage, finance, and others that will help you to practice your faith day to day. Here is a preview of some of the courses that will be offered:

  • Membership Matters
  • Sewing for Missions
  • Life Management
  • How to Communicate Compassion to Others
