| FUSION 2012 |
About a year ago, a good friend of mine introduced me to numerology, which is the science of numbers. To be honest I didn't really have an interest in it, and I was definitely skeptical about it. Nonetheless, I printed the report and surprisingly, it was bang on. The more I read it, the more it made sense and I was amazed at how accurate it was. According to the report September and October were going to be my best months of the past three years, and this certainly proved to be true...
In September, I had my second FUSION show, which is now an annual event. From splashing paint in a big white box, to a custom Matt LeBlanc Art coffee table, as well as my very own blend of coffee, creativity really took center stage in front of over 375 people.
We saw the eleven year old Cameron Molloy grow up by leaps and bounds when he nailed two songs in front of an excited crowd. I can only imagine how he must have felt when he received a standing ovation. Heck I think I was still playing with Lego at eleven, and this guy is getting standing ovations!
The show was also a launching pad for my new foundation
"Le Cadeau de Mado" (more about that below). I was able to raise almost $2,500, which was a fantastic start to the new foundation.
The highlight of the night was definitely the custom Matt LeBlanc Art gowns by local designer Rebecca Mackenzie. After spending hours painting on various fabrics, I was delighted to hand them over to her to do what she does best. Click HERE to see these incredible dresses, you won't be disappointed!
September wasn't only about FUSION. I was also nominated for two Excellence Awards from the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce; one in Marketing and the other one in Innovation. Since I could only submit for one category I opted for innovation as that is really the basis of everything I do as an artist. A few weeks ago, I brought the hardware home. What a feeling for an artist to win this prestigious award. I don't know for a fact, but I think I'm the first visual artist win this award, which makes the victory even sweeter.
In September, I also realized one of my lifelong dreams of appearing on a magazine cover. It was quite a feeling to see myself on the cover of VISION magazine!
Last but not least, in October I was a part of the Halifax Dream Festival where I had the amazing opportunity to meet incredible

business people like Bruce Croxon from the Dragons' Den, Debbie Travis
and Michael J. Fox. I was amazed how much they seemed like regular people like you and met, yet they have achieved so many great things.
