Happy New Year to you, dear e-news readers. We really appreciate that you open up our communications. We're getting 'to it' right out of the 2015 gate, and invite you to hop on board with us.

If there aren't enough hours in your day for hands-on participation, supporting us financially is an important way to participate (if you have contributed already, we thank you). We have 23 more days to hit our goal of $10,000 and receive a match! We're $4,115.00 away from that goal, so we urge you to click here and become a supporting member.

If you ARE able to get involved personally, please follow this link for a description of upcoming planning workgroups and needed support, then hit reply and let us know which might be of interest to you. With only one equivalent fulltime employee, we really need "all hands on deck" to advance a resilient and sustainable Ojai Valley AND a sustainable Green Coalition. Saturday, January 10th
Busy, Busy, Busy

Did you get new e-goods during the holidays? We hope you saved your old gadgets for recycling, if they couldn't be reused. Come by car, come on foot with a wheelbarrow - we don't care how you do it! We'll be at Ojai Community Bank parking lot, 402 W. Ojai Ave. - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Check out all you can recycle here. 

Then head over to Stewart Canyon Creek 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to help plant trees and shrubs as part of C.R.E.W. restoration work, a dedicated group who we help with volunteer outreach. The overall goal of our efforts is to re-establish a functioning riparian ecosystem to support a diversity of wildlife species and to improve the flow of water.
