Farms Uncorked - Saturday, January 23, 3-6pm
Come sample a wide variety of Iowa wines and meet with local vintners. Enjoy tasty bites, brief info-sessions on wine-related topics, and shop the MarketPlace Gift Store for your favorites. Complimentary snacks and soft drinks are included.
Spirits and Sweets - Saturday, February 20, 3-6pm
Dare to pair one of a kind mini-tini's mixed by Iowa artisan distillers with bite-sized sweets and savory items created by local eateries. Visit with distillers about the process of making spirits with Iowa grains. Complimentary snacks and soft drinks are included.
Beer n' Bread - Saturday, March 5
Two sessions: 3-4:30pm or 5-6:30pm
Come meet the people behind your favorite Iowa craft brews, and explore the art of home-brewing with local experts. Enjoy a variety of micro-brew tastings from across the state, and sample fresh artisan breads. Complimentary snacks and soft drinks are included. To assure ample opportunity for tasting, there will be two sessions, each with limited tickets sold.
Festival of Cheese - Saturday, April 16
Two sessions: 3-4:30pm or 5-6:30pm
A celebration of the ultimate comfort food - cheese! Grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese fondues, cheesecake, cheese curds - you get the idea. It's the cheesiest event around. Discover what creative variations local chefs, Iowa craft cheese makers and local cheese mongers make of these traditional favorites. To assure ample opportunity for tasting, there will be two sessions, each with limited tickets sold.
