Ioway Culture Day at Living History Farms
Ioway tribe elder Pete Fee talks about the Living History Farms depiction of homes in which tribe members dwelt in 1700. Fee concluded his remarks at the dedication by saying of the new site, "I feel at home here."

1700 Ioway Farm
The new 1700 Ioway Farm site at Living History Farms features several different types of housing used by the Ioway (Báxoje, as they called themselves), as shown here. The speakers and activities during Ioway Culture Day connected to an NEH on the Road exhibition hosted by the museum through August 11, which explores how different cultures turn houses into homes.
