The 24th Annual "Big as a Barn Sale", Living History Farms Guild Garage and Bake Sale will be at the Murray Conference Center at Living History Farms, 12440 Douglas Parkway, on May 28, 29, and 30. There is no admission fee and the sale is open to the public.

Sale dates:
Thursday, May 28, 9am - 6pm
Friday, May 29, 9am - 6pm
Saturday, May 30, 9am - 2pm

There are always a number of treasures to buy. At this eclectic sale, browse housewares, collectibles, furniture, dishes, lamps, children's clothing, sporting equipment, toys, books and an incredible array of miscellaneous items. The bake sale will include cakes, cookies, bars, pies, breads and pastries prepared by members of the Guild.

The Murray Conference Center is located west of Interstate 35/80 off Douglas Avenue/Parkway (I-80/35, Exit # 126). The entrance is marked "Gate 4" at approximately 12440 Douglas Parkway, Urbandale. Call 515-278-5286 for more information.

(Please no adult clothing, shoes, tires, paint, VHS tapes, old telephones, TVs, or computers.)

All proceeds from the sale go to the Living History Farms Guild to fund preservation and education projects at the museum.
