Saturday, December 6

4 - 8pm

www.LivingHistoryFarms.org/Christmas

Join us for a holiday open house filled with Christmas cheer! Bundle up for a horse-drawn wagon ride through Walnut Hill. Visit the Flynn Mansion, an original 1870 Victorian home, that will be decorated for the season and bustling with festive preparations. Help trim the tree and make a Christmas card and a Victorian Christmas cornucopia ornament. Next, stop at the Church of the Land for an old fashioned holiday social with dancing and music by the Barn Owl Band. Head down the stairs to the church basement for refreshments and kids' cookie-decorating. In the Visitor Center, guests will enjoy taffy pulls, children's crafts, swing music by the Urbandale Jazz Band, and Santa Claus in his sleigh! Pick up unique gifts in the MarketPlace Museum Store, which will be open for holiday shopping from noon-8pm.
