Who?       The Easter Bunny will hop over to Living History Farms to make his annual appearance at the Family Easter Celebration!

When?      Saturday, April 19 from 9 am to noon, rain or shine. 

Where?
     Living History Farms, 11121 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA

What? 
      Join the historic games, horse-drawn wagon rides, and egg and toy hunts. Children 5-10 years old can bring their favorite Easter basket and search for novelty toys and candy during organized toy hunts. Toy hunts will start at 9:05 a.m. and run every 20 minutes, from 9:05-noon. Children age four and younger can collect plastic Easter eggs, enjoy a snack, and play with costumed bunny helpers at Pre-School Bunnyland.

Historic games and contests include:
 ·    egg rolling
 ·    pancake races
 ·    Easter bonnet relay and more

The 1875 town of Walnut Hill, will be celebrating the arrival of spring. You can:
 ·    Say hello to the barnyard animals
 ·    Take a picture with the Easter Bunny
 ·    Craft activity by The Iowa Egg Council
 ·    Visit the town general store, drug store, broom maker and printer as they prepare for spring activities.

What's Included?
 Ticket price includes:
 ·    FREE horse-drawn wagon rides (conditions permitting)
 ·    Egg and Toy Hunts for children up to age 10
 ·    FREE popcorn and Coca-Cola for everyone
 ·    FREE hot Breakfast Wrap courtesy of the Iowa Egg Council and Woody's Smoke Shack (for the first 1000 guests)

Spring Wagon Rides
April 5, 12, 26 at 6:30pm

Bring your blanket and enjoy an evening horse and wagon ride this spring at Living History Farms! Guests meet at the Murray Conference Center to board an open-air wagon pulled by Percheron draft horses. Munch on popcorn as you take a ride through the fields and country roads of Living History Farms in the crisp spring air! After your ride, join other guests for refreshments and see Living History Farms as it comes back to life after a long winter! 
 
Tickets are $15/person, $13.50/LHF member. Children under 2 free.
Living History Farms is a non-profit, historical, educational foundation located at 11121 Hickman Road, Urbandale, Iowa. Operations and maintenance are dependent upon gate receipts, memberships, and contributions. Living History Farms opens for the general touring season on May 1, 2014.
